Danny Martin (Partner)

Danny commenced his professional life in the telecommunications industry, doing cabling, installation and supporting digital PABX systems. He shifted into the Office Equipment industry in 1992, servicing and overseeing installation of Toshiba analogue photocopiers. He then moved into the Fax Department, providing service, technical and sales support before progressing to the IT Department, where he worked primarily with printers. During this time Danny gained considerable expertise in all forms of printing technologies, including InkJet, Impact, Thermal transfer, Mono & Colour Lasers.

With the arrival of the digital revolution he was perfectly placed to go the full circle back into copiers, which had now become Multi-Function Devices with an ability to print, scan and fax as well as copy. He became the Lead Technician with Toshiba, providing support and training for clients, technicians and the sales force.

Having to provide inhouse technical support and training was particularly valuable in highlighting the strengths and weaknesses of the machines he supported, giving him an excellent resource that has greatly benefited DMP's clients.

David Veale (Partner)

David has a strong proven sales background within the IT industry, starting out selling telecommunication solutions and then progressing to IT consumables with a local company with a national presence.

Dave then moved on to sell office print and copy equipment. This is where he was able to employ his logical and analytical approach to helping customers resolve problems through practical knowledge of the hard copy and satellite industries. This was achieved thanks to a close collaboration with Danny Martin, whose technical knowledge and expertise he relied on heavily and matched effectively to his own skill base.

It was during this time that the need for genuinely unbiased advice to businesses became glaringly apparent, and so the foundations for DMP were laid.
